Autoprinter vs Sufio

Does Sufio print orders automatically? No: its help center says delivery notes can only be printed manually, and invoices print through your browser's print dialog. Autoprinter prints them for you, sending packing slips and invoices to your own printers as orders come in, and prints Shopify shipping labels with zero clicks.

Sufio is an invoicing app built around tax compliance. It creates invoices automatically with tax calculations, keeps issued invoices unchanged and handles refunds with separate credit notes, validates EU VAT numbers, and sends e-invoices through networks such as Peppol and KSeF. Its help center says documents come in nearly 40 languages, translated by local accountants.

If you need compliant invoices and credit notes and print them yourself when needed, Sufio may be all you need. If you want packing slips and invoices printed without you, that is what Autoprinter is for.

Why choose Autoprinter over Sufio

  • Prints by itself. Packing slips and invoices print when an order is placed, paid or fulfilled, with nobody pressing Print.
  • Zero-click shipping labels. Buy a label in Shopify as usual and it comes out of your label printer, with no print dialog.

  1. Can Sufio print orders automatically?

    No. Its help center says delivery notes can only be printed manually, and invoices print through your browser's print dialog. Autoprinter prints the documents you choose when an order is placed, paid or fulfilled, with nobody pressing Print.

  2. Can Sufio print shipping labels?

    Not described in its listing or documentation.     Yes, for up to 50 orders a month sent to your printers, with every feature and no card needed. Printing from your browser never counts. Paid plans start at $10 a month for 500 orders.

  5. Does Autoprinter work on a Shopify POS iPad or phone?

    No. A Windows or macOS computer at the store does the printing, and in-store POS sales print there automatically, for example a kitchen ticket on a receipt printer.
